Cuz Porcelain-Requiem [link] did this and it looked like fun, I'll do it too! I never miss a chance to babble...

"10 things about my art..."

1. I've been drawing since I was little! I clearly remember sitting at my pre-school/kindergarten table... drawing when I should be eating lunch or whatever...

2. Whenever I drew a female when I was little, her skirt.. would do this ridiculous curly thing at the bottom hem... I have to show you guys one day...

3. I'm no good at cartoon drawings... Mickey Mouse? Forget it! (I'm gonna have to get my act together if I plan to be an animator..)

4. When I do Photoshop works, they'll either take weeks to finish, or I will sit myself at my computer for over 8 hours to finish it. Last time I did that, I didn't stop for lunch, dinner, or anything! I get really into it. (Haven't done it in years though. The last one took away all of my energy!)

5. Whenever I did Photoshop work, I would use my laptop's touch pad. I just recently got a tablet though, so from now on I'll be working with that!

6. I've never drawn with a mouse. I haven't used a mouse in years, actually. Unless forced to do so...

7. When I draw 'realism' pictures, my lines get very sketchy...

8. From the ages 12-15 (roughly) I kept over 8 marble notebooks under my bed. Every single one of them was completely filled with one continuous comic I had worked on for all those years. I still have them!

9. I still don't like hand-coloring or painting, but I LOVE coloring in Photoshop! It's my favorite part! (I'm such a digital freak...)

10. On a few math tests back in high school, I drew funny little comic people where answers should have been, cuz I didn't know the answers...

:D

Regarding number 8...

Are those the notebooks that you would never let me look at? Haha. I specifically remember reaching for one once 'cause I wanted to look through your sketchbook for some reason, and you yelled at me. "NO! Not that one! That one's special!"

Haha.

So now I ask you leave me be
While I mend my paper heart~
Yes, I've never let anyone look at those.. they're nothing like my sketchbook anyway. My sketchbook is less messy. Drawing on lined paper with ink doesn't look that great, haha! I realized after years of drawing that comic, that the story kept repeating itself and going around in circles, so I stopped!

@_@ I'm soooo bad at it! But at least I gave an effort, whereas some people in my class would write their name at the top and hand it in. So hopeless.. lol!

Woah... yeah... that's pretty bad to just accept defeat before even trying. :XD: There were times I struggled too, but I never let that happen. Now that I think about it though, there were some tests I took for college credit that if you answered and got it wrong, they took away points so it was better not to answer the ones you didn't know. That's the college board for you! Those tests were pretty miserable. They took an entire day to take. :P
